During the due diligence periods of the 2026 VCIC Global Finals, I was asked multiple times why we are building Forward Inheritance. Who is it for? Who *needs* this? Just the wealthy, right? Consider:
- There are 12M American families about to give $1-5M of inheritance to the Next Generation, and while I think that $1M is a lot of money, few would call those families “the wealthy”
- 50% of American homeowners do *not* have a will, and if they pass, the family home goes to probate, forcing the Next Generation to argue with the state, taking years and costing tens of thousands of dollars
- Americans are blindly barrelling towards a paperwork crisis in the midst of the inheritance process chaos, impacting our family relationships, wealth, and legacy
At Forward Inheritance, we are building for ourselves.
